1. The tape

Inches. Walk the room from the left end of the entrance wall, anticlockwise.

• Each wall's length, in order, and whether it turns 90° to the next (a cut corner is two 45° turns).
• The ceiling height.
• Every door and window: which wall, how far from that wall's left end (as you face it), how wide, the sill height and the head height.
• A window sill you stand work on: say so, with the sill's depth.
• A partition: its length, where it starts along the wall, and the width of its doorway.

Most rooms are a box: width, depth, ceiling, and where the door is. If yours is, that is the whole tape.

2. The photographs

• Each wall square-on from the middle of the room, the whole wall in the frame, corners included.
• The floor from the doorway, and the ceiling from the middle of the room.
• Each corner, and the doorway and any window, so the openings can be placed.
• Even daylight, no flash, the phone held level. Take the works down or leave them; the walls are hung again in the room.
• The length of each wall from a tape measure, in inches, and the ceiling height.

One more of each pile of canvases on the floor, and of any racks, so we can place them.

3. The works

A spreadsheet, one row per work. Download the template, or send us the export you already have (Artlogic, ArtCloud, your own sheet): we read the columns by name.

• Artist and artist email (the email is how Gallpack tells them the price when a work sells; without it nothing of theirs hangs).
• Title, year, medium.
• Width and height in inches, or one dimensions column like "24 x 36 in".
• Price in dollars, or blank for price on request.
• Image: a link to the photograph, or the photographs in a folder named by title.
• Wall: the wall it goes on, by the name you gave it on the tape, or "stack A" for a pile on the floor. Blank means wherever there is room.

4. Send it

One email to support@gallpack.com with the tape, the photographs (or a folder link), and the sheet. Nothing to install, no account needed yet.

5. What we do

1. Draw the room from the tape; pull each wall's photograph square onto it.
2. Move the works in from the sheet; make each artist once, with their email.
3. Hang the walls as you asked: one row, or salon style floor to ceiling; the piles where they stand; the plaques over each artist's run.
4. Send you a private link to walk it. You say what to move; we move it, and you see it in the same link.
5. Open the door when you say so. Shows, tickets, the labels to print, the book and the pictures are yours from that day.

6. What it costs

The room built from your photographs is $500 once, waived for founding galleries; the plan is $149 a month. A sale from the wall is paid to your own Stripe account and Gallpack keeps a flat $1.00. You own the desk, the book, the prices and the door; leave any time with everything you brought.
